Daniel Story Overview
In the kingdom of Babylon, a young man named Daniel and his friends remained deeply committed to God despite being in a foreign land. Through every trial—from refusing the King’s rich food to facing a fiery furnace—God granted them wisdom and miraculous protection. When Daniel was later cast into a den of hungry lions for praying to God, the King was distressed, but Daniel remained unharmed. God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths, proving that no earthly power can overcome the Almighty. This narrative reveals God’s sovereignty over every kingdom and teaches us that when we stand firm in our faith, God stands with us. Adapted from Daniel 1-6.
