Waking Word Inc. is a Vermont-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a heart for kids, families, and faith. We partner with churches and Christian educators right here in our communities and around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in creative, joyful ways. Our mission? To equip families and kids to know Jesus—and share Him with others—through immersive media, art, play, and storytelling.

Why storytelling? Because stories shape us. Listeners emerge from a good story a little wiser, gladder, or more thoughtful. The Bible’s tales transform lives, and we’re here to help kids and families hear, see, and experience the stories through engaging media and creativity.

What We Do:

• Produce quality Christian media like Sown in the Heart, Craft Stick Bible Stories, and Mini Morals.
• Offer hands-on workshops that spark creativity and faith in kids.
• Connect with churches to bring accessible, Bible-based resources to their communities.

Beliefs:

1. All people are created in the image of God.
2. The Holy Bible is of final authority.
3. We are called by God to be good stewards of His entire creation.
4. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. All who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His sacrifice.
5. We believe in the resurrection, ascension, present existence and future return of Jesus Christ.
6. There is one living God, three-persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), existing in one essence—perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom and measureless in power.
